CryptoExpert Lite
CryptoExpert Lite is a free encryption software
A free encryption program is called CryptoExpert Lite. It encrypts and decrypts data using an on-the-fly encryption technology. Data is encrypted during storage and is decrypted dynamically upon request from any application. On the other hand, instantly encrypted unencrypted data is preserved after being instantly encrypted. In order to generate a "virtual drive" that seems to users and applications like any other physical drive, the CryptoExpert system mounts a volume file. CryptoExpert intercepts all data that the user tries to write to this drive, encrypts it, and writes it to the volume file. Additionally, attempts to read from this volume are intercepted. CryptoExpert then reads the pertinent information from the volume file, decrypts it, and displays it to the program that is attempting to read the information.
The CryptoExpert "virtual drive" must be unmounted in order to prevent data from being read from or written to it. The "container" holds encrypted copies of all the data. From Windows' perspective, an apparent "new" disk has materialized. The file system remains encrypted whether the software is running or the volume is unmounted, making it impossible for anybody to access or retrieve the data without the pass word. A unique tool to remove all personal information from a computer is included in the most recent version.
