Kompozer is an open source web development tool built on NVU
An open-source web development tool based on NVU is called Kompozer. The project aims to provide new features and address faults in the NVU project. As part of the Kompozer effort, both the HTML and CSS editors have already been updated and repaired, and many more are planned. The primary feature set is the same as in NVU aside from that. The fact that editing occurs in WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) mode, giving you complete control over layout while you work on your site design, is still one of the most crucial advantages.
