The Procrastinator's Clock is likely to be off by as much as fifteen minutes. However, as it varies in speed as well, you can't be sure of its true speed. Technically speaking, the clock records a "fastness" or "time buffer" measured in milliseconds. Once every second, this buffer is changed by either adding or deleting a specific number of milliseconds. Periodically, the delta value varies, and the rate of change can hasten or slow down. The time buffer is applied to the real time prior to the display computations. There's also an assurance that the clock won't be slow as long as your computer clock is in sync with NTP.
