GSN
GSN serves as the primary streaming data database for the ETH Center
The ETH Centre for Competence Environment and Sustainability uses GSN as its main streaming data database (CCES). The use of GSN is growing every day through the Swiss Experiment platform initiative, and it is currently getting close to 80–100 million data points. GSN integrates a wide range of sensors, including those for plant ecology, meteorology, cryospherics, groundwater monitoring, and dense, short-term local deployments. It serves as a repository for all kinds of data, from national networks to diverse sensor types.
