Similar to previous releases, COMODO's free antivirus software for Windows provides reliable full-time protection against malware and standard features like firewall protection, game mode, drag-and-drop submission of questionable apps for evaluation, and cloud-based definitions. However, it also includes some special features like the free COMODO Dragon secure Web browser and the optional Geek Buddy support service, which calls for a paid license.
Upon installing COMODO Antivirus, a number of alternatives are presented. We chose to accept the cloud-based analysis of suspicious apps, and we declined the COMODO Secure DNS Server option, which modifies your PC's network settings.
