Prevent your PC from locking or going to sleep
Coffee simulates keystrokes on a frequent basis, preventing a computer from locking up or going to sleep. The program stops your screensaver from starting without requiring you to disable it, much like a strong cup of coffee. When you don't want a screensaver but also don't want to alter your desktop settings, this is useful.
The UI of this program was enjoyable to us because it didn't try to do too much. There is essentially just an on/off switch for caffeine. With such a basic layout, confusion is practically unavoidable. According to the program's description, it mimicked a keystroke once every minute to prevent our machine from shutting down.
